MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Lady Eagles concluded the regular season with a 3-0 loss to Dalton State after three second half goals from the Roadrunners. With the result, Faulkner travels to Brewton-Parker for the first round of the SSAC Tournament at a time and date to be determined next weekend between Thursday and Saturday. 

Ava Van Doren scored from distance in the 55th for what proved to be the match winner. About two minutes later came the best chance for the Lady Eagles when Ainsley Lockwood's shot from the left side just missed wide. 

Van Doren doubled the lead in the 71st minute rebounding a free kick before Brianna Smotherman scored the third in the 87th. 

Keila Cardeiro Carmona had four saves including two tremendous saves, one off a corner in the 26th to keep the game scoreless and another in the 68th to keep it a one-score game. 

The Roadrunners and Lady Eagles were pretty close on the shots category with Dalton State shooting 17 times to Faulkner's 14. However, the Roadrunners were more efficient shooting on target with 10, doubling the Lady Eagle on frame attempts.
