MONTGOMERY, Ala. -
Nanako Omae's golden goal, her second tally of the afternoon, lifted Faulkner (4-10, 3-2 SSAC) to a massive SSAC 2-1 win over Brewton-Parker (8-6-1, 2-2 SSAC) Saturday afternoon at the Emory Folmar Soccer Complex. The victory moved the Lady Eagles into third in the league and in control of their own destiny to host their first conference tournament game.
With just under three minutes to go before the match ended in a draw, Omae, much like her goal against Mobile, found time and space outside the box and laced it over the keeper. The game-winner was her fourth of the season.Â
Kadisha Martina forced the overtime period in the 87th minute when hit the empty net after Sarah DeGannes's shot careened off the post.Â

Adamarie Moreno lobbed a through ball to the senior from Japan who slotted home the opener in the 54th minute. Moreno recorded her first point as a Lady Eagle.
Megan White stopped five shots in the win, eclipsing 100 saves on the season.Â
The win is the second overtime victory of the season for Faulkner and the 13th for the program.Â
The Lady Eagles travel to Florida College (1-12, 0-5 SSAC) Thursday with a chance to clinch the three seed and a home conference tournament game.Â
