WALESKA, Ga. - Faulkner wrapped up nonconference play Wednesday with a 2-0 loss to Reinhardt, who received votes in the poll released earlier in the day. 

After saving five first half shots, Faulkner (1-6) conceded after Reinhardt (5-0) recovered a visiting Eagle goal kick and quickly countered, with Min Lee slotting it home in the 51st. Gus Fidler delivered the dagger in the 86th as the hosting Eagles worked quickly out of a free kick to set another cross on the ground in front of the goalmouth. 

Faulkner put four shots on target in the match as Nic Fischer set a career high with nine saves in net. 

SSAC play begins in Hattiesburg, Miss. against the 16th-ranked William Carey Crusaders Sept. 30.
