MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Faulkner put up 15 service aces to best Brewton-Parker 3-0 (25-8, 25-13, 25-11) to kick off senior weekend to sweep the season series with the conference foe.
The first set featured three straight service aces from Senior captain
Alexis McInroy to give the Lady Eagles the early lead. They would continue their dominance throughout the set going on back-to-back runs to take the opening set.
Faulkner would finish off the second set capitalizing off of four straight attack errors, a kill by
Hannah Bryan and another Baron error closed out the set.
In the final set, the Lady Eagles would start out hot with a kill and three straight service aces from
Molly Presnell, jumping to a 5-0 lead. Faulkner went on to finish off the Barons to complete the sweep.
"One of the girls said they felt like they had backed off on their serving, so I said 'ok we'll make pressure serving more of a priority this week, so we did, we focused a little bit more on aggressive serving.'" said Coach

The Lady Eagles will finish their home schedule with Senior Day on Saturday against Middle Georgia at 1:00pm in the SSAC Game of the Week.
