MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Faulkner finished the game on a 28-14 run to lift itself to a 78-64 win over Middle Georgia State Thursday night. The Lady Eagles got 15 fourth quarter points from 
Nequoia Adams as they closed the contest with the bulk of it coming during a 21-6 run.
The teams entered the fourth quarter tied at 50 before an 
Angela Grant bucket and ensuing free throw staked the Lady Eagles to a three-point lead. After Brianna McRae tied the game with 9:29 to play, Faulkner embarked upon its 21-6 run to settle the outcome.
Faulkner won the rebounding battle 43-33 and took points in the paint 34-22. The Lady Eagles assisted on 13 of 25 made baskets. Faulkner made 43.9 percent of its shots from the floor and 74.1 percent of its free throws.
Adams topped all scorers with 21 points to go along with six rebounds. 
Morgan Holland had 15 points, six rebounds and five assists. Grant finished with 15 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks for her 35th career double-double.
Faulkner (14-4, 6-2 SSAC) returns to action Saturday when it travels to William Carey for a noon tip.
