MONTGOMERY, Ala.- The Lady Eagles (2-5-2, 0-4-1 SSAC) fall to the no. 1 ranked Crusaders (14-0, 7-0 SSAC). The Crusaders, who are the top offense in the country, took the lead 4-0 before giving up one and answering back with four more.
Kandice Lumpkin scored the lone goal for the Lady Eagle offense in the 33rd minute for the first in her collegiate career.
Faith Rush saved 11 shots in the loss, her first career double-figure save total.
The Lady Eagles continue SSAC play when they travel to Thomasville, Ga. to play Thomas on Thursday at 2 p.m.
