LAUREL, Miss. - Faulkner slugged its way to 22 runs over 11 innings on the road in a doubleheader sweep of Southeastern Baptist 12-1 and 10-0 Monday afternoon in a short break from conference play. 11 of the 25 hits for the Lady Eagles were of the extra base variety on the afternoon.

Chloe Davidson then followed with a triple in the second to also score Davidson. The second baseman was also on board for the grand slam.Â
Davidson, who tied with
Abby Terrell for most runs scored in the game with three, capitalized on an error in the first to open the scoring before plating Terrell in the second.
Gracie Pittman's double scored Purvis to make it 5-0 in the first before Mitchell singled her home. Terrell scored her third run of the game in the fourth before Davidson singled home
Eavie Polk to score the 12th run.Â
Ivey Hill picked up the win in the circle allowing just three hits and one run over five innings with six strikeouts.Â

Home runs endcapped the night cap as Pittman opened the game with a solo shot in the second and
Colby Adams's three run blast in the sixth sealed the game.Â
Jordan Boyd brought home Mitchell in the second to double the lead following Pittman's fifth homer of the season. Pittman's batted ball brought in
Kaileigh Harrison in the third.
Mandi Hart picked up two RBIs with her first collegiate hit as a fourth inning double made it 5-0 before she later scored on a Davidson groundout. Mitchell made it 6-0 in the fifth with a double to score Adams before the game sealer from the substitute designated player.Â
Julianna Thames struck out five in the complete game shutout allowing just two hits.Â
The Lady Eagles finally return back home Friday to take on Blue Mountain at 3 p.m. in its first home SSAC series. It will be just the fifth and sixth home games of the season.Â
