KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The awards keep coming in for Faulkner softball with a trio of Lady Eagles earning 2026 NAIA Third Team All-America honors for their play in a historic season. The awards bring the program's number of NAIA All-America honorees to seven, and the total number of individual NAIA All-America honors earned to nine.
Sarah Williams tallies her first All-America honor to go with her first NFCA All-Region, SSAC Scholar-Athlete Team and CSC Academic All-District honors. The junior out of Marbury, Alabama, started all 53 games at catcher or first base and batted .429 with 66 hits, 18 of the extra-base variety, with 47 RBI and 17 runs scored for a slugging mark of .571 and an on-base percentage of .466 while tying for a team-best 16 doubles.
Chloe Davidson earns her second straight Third Team All-America nod, racking up another award to add to her First Team All-SSAC, SSAC Co-Player of the Year and SSAC Softball Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors from her senior season alone in addition to her four career First Team All-SSAC honors and three NFCA All-Region plaudits. The senior infielder led the SSAC in batting for a second straight season with a .442 mark while missing three games and racked up 72 hits, 36 runs scored and 23 RBI to go with a .552 slugging percentage and .503 on-base mark.
Addyson Jarman earns her first NAIA honor and second total All-America honor in as many collegiate seasons. The sophomore outfielder batted .397 across all 53 games with 69 hits, 52 RBI and a team-leading 47 runs scored to go for a .421 on-base percentage with 24 stolen bases. However, the biggest impact for the two-time First Team All-SSAC honoree, as in her 2025 Freshman of the Year campaign, came in her 29 extra-base hits, including 11 home runs, as she slugged .701 with an OPS of 1.122 to lead all qualifying Faulkner batters and tied with Williams for a team-best 16 doubles. She also claimed SSAC Player of the Week for three straight weeks in April, one week shy of claiming the award for the entire month.
Faulkner fell just shy of a World Series berth as they took on an Opening Round host and eventual national runner-up squad in Southeastern that saw four players earn All-America honors, with two First Teamers in Raylei McKinney and Maria Zelenka, Second Teamer Ella Brooks and Third Teamer Eden Playa. Evangel, who Faulkner also defeated in the Opening Round, saw pitcher Maddy Meierer earn First Team plaudits and infielder Kenna Mayfield place on the Second Team.
