MONTGOMERY, Ala.- The Lady Eagles (2-2-1, 0-1 SSAC) opened up SSAC play with a 4-0 loss against Middle Georgia (2-3-1, 1-0 SSAC) today at Billy D. Hilyer Stadium.

The game was a tough outing for Faulkner as they faced adversity on both sides of the ball. The Lady Eagles had 6 total shots with only one on goal.

Sunaina Chaigneau opened the scoring for the Knights in the 25th minute by cashing in on a  backwards pass from Caitlynn Linville. Chaigneau contributed to the second goal, with an assist to Safiya Dean. 

The offensive onslaught continued in the second half with a quick goal from Caitlynn Linville in the 48th minute. Sunaina Chaigneau added to the offensive output with another score in the 59th minute to put the game away for the Knights. 

Sofia de la Torre took the lone shot on goal for Faulkner in the 32nd minute. 

The Lady Eagles travel to West Point, Ga for a match with Point on Saturday September 23 at 3:00pm
