MOBILE, Ala. - The Eagles fell 3-2 in a tough contest against SCAD Saturday afternoon at The Jungle in Mobile despite creating more chances. The Eagles outshot the Bees 21-13 but the Bees were more clinical in their finishing, scoring on three of their five shots on goal.
SCAD got on the board first with a third minute goal, but
Leo Freire answered just three minutes later with an assist from José Riofrio to level the match at one a piece through the first half.
Faulkner conceded in the 60th and again in the 77th and the hole was too much to climb out of, despite
Konsti Witte scoring from José Lucca in the 81st to make the end intriguing.
The Eagles return home to face New College of Florida Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
