MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2025-26 SSAC Men's Basketball Players of the Week. KJ Rogers of Faulkner was named SSAC Men's Basketball Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week. The awards are for the week of Oct. 20-26.

Offensive & Defensive: KJ Rogers (Faulkner – SR – G – St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands)

·      These are his third and fourth-career weekly honors after claiming one of each last season

·      Rogers averaged 33 points and 3.5 assists per game, while shooting 61% overall and 90% from the free throw line in a pair of close Faulkner wins

·      He scored the game-winner in overtime against Fisk with .6 seconds left and then tied Talladega in regulation before icing the game with a pair of free throws in OT

·      Defensively, Rogers averaged four steals per game and six boards per contest

·      He posted 31 points, three assists, five steals and eight boards v. Fisk and 35 points, four assists, three steals and four rebounds v. Talladega
