WEST POINT, Ga. - Faulkner (9-17, 3-11 SSAC) fell in three (20-25, 13-25, 12-25) at West Point Gymnasium as Point (19-14, 6-8 SSAC) returned the favor from Faulkner's sweep in Tine Davis last month.
The Lady Eagles kept things close in the opening frame as they took an 11-10 lead, but the Skyhawks responded with a 7-1 run to take the lead for good. Point took four of the last five points to take set one, strung together crippling 9-0 and 5-0 runs in the second and 6-0 and 8-1 runs in the third to end this match early.
