BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Three Eagles earned all-Mid South Conference honors following their 2025 campaigns as announced Thursday by the league with
AJ Alozie earning first team honors as
Caleb Williams and
Braxton Berrey earned second team.
Alozie, a native of Montgomery, Ala., totaled 30 tackles over the season with 14 solos, 5.5 tackles for loss and two sacks while also defending three passes in his redshirt sophomore season. Alozie's first team honor returns an Eagle to the first team selections on the defensive side of the ball after a one year hiatus.
Caleb Williams earned second team honors as a defensive back with 60 tackles, three interceptions, eight pass breakups, a fumble recovery and 2.5 tackles for loss. The Biloxi, Miss. native also returned eight punts for an average of 10.9 yards with a touchdown.
Braxton Berrey placed on the second team after leading the nation with 43.7 yards per punt with 19 punts inside the 20 and five punts of 50 or more. The Montgomery, Alabama native is just the fifth different punter to earn any all-conference honors for the program.
The trio helped the Eagles to their first conference win since 2022 this season and a 4-6 overall record.
