MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Eagles battled, but fell late against Life Saturday night at Billy D. Hilyer Stadium in a 3-1 loss.
After a 40 minute stalemate, Life found a moment of brilliance to take the lead in the 41st with Alvara Hidalgo striking first to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.
Asaph Silveira's corner in the 51st went over the keeper and found
Caio Pereira for a free header into the goal. It was Pereira's eighth career goal and Silveira's fourth assist of the season.
Life found the match winner in the 76th minute before scoring again in the 82nd to seal the result.
Faulkner will regroup to take on Point on the road Saturday at 4 p.m. central.
