MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2026 SSAC Baseball Players of the Week. Cody Presley of Blue Mountain Christian was named SSAC Baseball Player of the Week and Austin Lippolis of Faulkner was named SSAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week. The awards are for the week of Feb. 9-15.

Player: Cody Presley (Blue Mountain Christian – JR – INF – Madison, Miss.)

·      This is his first-career weekly honor

·      Presley hit .391, posted a .481 OBP and slugged 1.043, while totaling 10 runs scored, four homers and eight RBIs in a 5-1 week for the Toppers

·      In game two v. Rust, he launched three homers and drove in five

Pitcher: Austin Lippolis (Faulkner – SR – LHP – Columbus, Ohio)

·      This is his first-career weekly honor

·      Lippolis contributed to a pair of wins for Faulkner across a pair of relief appearances

·      He tossed three innings of one-hit, shutout relief, while striking out seven to get the win over Stillman. In 1 4-1 win over No. 24 Keiser, he entered with the bases loaded and got a groundout to pick up the save
