2025-26 CSC Women's Basketball Academic All-District Teams
GREENWOOD, Ind. - The NAIA College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team for women's basketball has been released, and two Lady Eagles earned spots on the list. College Sports Communicators announced the honorees on Tuesday. Per CSC rules, each nominee must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, own a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 and have either played in 90% or started at least 66% of their team's matches.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Select Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, which the nation's Sports Information Directors who are members of the organization will vote on. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on April 15, 2026.
Sophomore guard Avery Rogers also places on the list after logging the second-best three-point shooting season in program history with 44.1% and a team-leading 63 triples. Her mark bested the previous program record of 43.9% by Leticia Cuellar in the Lady Eagles' inaugural season, as did senior guard and Rogers's former high school teammate Ella Jane Connell, who now owns the program best of 45.5%. In 670 minutes and starting 28 of 29 games played, the native of Prattville shot 47.9% overall and scored 248 points, 77 rebounds, 53 steals and 20 assists. The sports management major carries a 3.85 cumulative GPA.
Wrapping up her decorated six-year career in apt fashion, graduate wing Morgan Holland DeWitt earns the honors and advances to the All-America ballot. The native of Blountsville, Ala., finishes her time as a Lady Eagle in second place in program history with 1886 points, 1032 rebounds and 782 defensive rebounds, becoming just the second in Faulkner history with 1800 points, 1000 boards or reach the 1000-1000 career mark. In 730 minutes, the second fewest in a full season for DeWitt, she tallied 340 points and 11.3 per game on 43.6% shooting while adding 225 rebounds, 45 assists and 31 steals. She boasts a 3.93 cumulative GPA after a 3.85 cumulative undergrad.
