MARIETTA, Ga. - The Lady Eagles fell to a tough second half to No. 12 Life Sunday afternoon at Lupo Family Field in a 6-0 loss.
The Lady Eagles weathered the storm in the first half with four saves from
Taylor Waters but it was an unlucky bounce own goal that put Life ahead 1-0 after the first 45 minutes.Â
Just four minutes into the second half, Faulkner conceded a penalty before Life again scored 22 seconds later to make it 3-0. Life added to it in the 55th minute to make it 4-0.Â
Faulkner battled to try to get it closer, but Life was too strong. The Running Eagles scored twice after the 80th to add to it and end 6-0.Â
Faulkner looks to rebound as they welcome Xavier (La.) for the first time in SSAC play Thursday night at Billy D. Hilyer Stadium.
