Mariana Laverde finished in the top 12 as the Lady Eagles continue to improve event-by-event as the Lady Eagles finished fourth in the five team field at the Firehawk Fall Invite at the Canebrake Club Monday and Tuesday,
Faulkner carded a 1036 over the three rounds, nearly 100 shots better than last week's event to finish 172-over-par as a team.
Phatsadavong shot consistently, carding a seven-over, five-over, and six-over to finish 18-over-par, 22 shots better than last week's final score. She birdied six holes on Monday as she earned her first top-10.
Laverde continued her rapid improvements and adjustments to the college game with a 23-over-par finish, nine shots better than last week and 31 shots better than the first tournament. She turned in five birdies across the three rounds.
Eleanor Matheny shot 47 shots better than last week's Coastal Georgia Invitational with a 60-over-par finish with her second birdie of the season in the second round's hole three.
Anna VanErmen cut 16 shots from last week and 22 from the first event, turning in a 71-over-par finish with each round improving from the first.
The Lady Eagles will take a week off before entering a 12 team tournament at the Invite at Innisbrook Sept. 28-29. The field features No. 3 Dalton State, No. 10 Southeastern, No. 12 Truett McConnell, No. 15 Pikeville and No. 25 Coastal Georgia.
