MONTGOMERY, Ala. - No. 22 Faulkner (8-2, 4-1 SSAC) handled business scoring five first half goals to coast past Brewton-Parker (0-10-1, 0-5 SSAC) 5-1 and pick up Head Coach Gabriel de Queiroz's 50th career victory, making him the winningest coach in Faulkner Men's Soccer history Thursday night at Billy D. Hilyer Stadium in SSAC action.

About 13 minutes into the game, Pepé Riofrio curled a beauty from 28 yards out into the top right corner, mesmerizing everyone at the stadium for his second goal of the season and second in three matches.

Riofrio was not done offensively there. In the 27th minute, he sent a corner kick towards Bernardo Juca who headed the ball down to Nicolas Tamayo who fired home his first goal of the season to double the Faulkner lead. 

Nine minutes later, Riofrio found a free running Tamayo again on a corner where he headed home his second goal of the evening. He became the first centerback with two goals in a match since at least 2013. 

In the 41st minute, Leo de Souza found Bernardo Juca on the opposite post for a floating header past the goalkeeper to make it 4-0. It was de Souza's second assist of the year.  

Just 90 seconds later Leo Freire danced down the right wing and kept the ball in at the end line before crossing to an open Juca for the slotted finish. It marked Juca's eighth goal of the season to couple five assists for 13 goal contributions in 10 matches. The assist from Freire gave him his 20th assist in his career as he continues to add to the program record.

Brewton-Parker got one back 90 seconds after to make it 5-1 a minute and a half before the halftime break. 

Faulkner dominated the first half with 20 shots and 15 on target before both teams took their foot off the gas in the second half with just eight total shots and two on target combined over the last 45. 

Faulkner finished the evening with 26 shots and 16 on target while allowing just five shots on goal on six shots with a 10-1 advantage off corners. 

Ferreira ended the evening with four saves with Bradley Ironside making one final save. 

22 different Eagles got on the field in the victory. 

Faulkner (12 points) holds first place in the SSAC at time of writing on points with Life (10 points) and William Carey (7 points) playing Friday night in an important match to follow for the SSAC standings.
