Box Score MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Faulkner offense continued to roll this evening in the final bout of the Faulkner-AUM Invitational here at Wynn Field. The Lady Eagles road 10 hits to an 11-1 decision over Bryan College in just four and a half innings of play.

Faulkner scored in all four trips to the plate while holding the visitors to just a single run in the third inning

The home team bookended a four-run first with an RBI double courtesy of
Abbie Pierce and and RBI single from
Holli Brooks.

Faulkner hung four more runs in its subsequent inning at bat. The Lions walked in the first, but
Hannah Qualls punctuated the scoring effort with a 3-RBI single to center just moments later.

Kelsey Hartley put a shot off the fence at left-center in the third inning to knock in the ninth run of the ball game for the Lady Eagles. The final two runs of the game came from the efforts of Qualls and Brooks in the fourth.

Brooks and Hartley each finished the game 2-for-2 with a pair of runs and had two and one RBI respectively. Byrd was 2-for-3 drove in a run.

Emma Cornell (1-0) made her pitching debut for the birds and scattered four hits over three innings while allowing a single earned run and securing a strikeout.

Taylor Griffith held the circle for the final two innings and allowed just a single hit while striking out one at the plate.

Faulkner improved to 3-0 and will next host Brewton-Parker in Southern States Athletic Conference action here on Tuesday. The doubleheader is slated for 3 p.m.
