McKENZIE, Tenn. - Bethel's (7-9, 3-3 SSAC) goal 10 minutes into regulation was all it took to earn the 1-0 victory over Faulkner (6-6, 1-4 SSAC) here in this afternoon's Southern States Athletic Conference match.

Jeremy Trevor Dykes rolled a ball from Careem Gordon past the Faulkner keeper securing the lone goal.

The Eagles outshot Bethel 11 to eight on the night and put six shots on frame to the Wildcats' three.

Diego da Silva (6-6) gathered three saves and allowed the goal in the loss. 

Faulkner will next travel to Brewton-Parker (3-10, 0-5 SSAC) in another SSAC event Thursday at 2 pm.
