BEAUFORT, S.C. - Eighth-ranked Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) (4-1) delivered a two-run homer to right center field in the third inning of today's opening showdown in the Southeastern Challenge to secure the 2-0 victory over Faulkner (2-6) before a solo bomb gave No. 12 Campbellsville (Ky.) (3-3) a 1-0 advantage in the sixth inning of another 2-0 loss in the weekend finale.

Hayden Strickland Oates (0-2), who got the win against the Blue Raiders in last year's Gulf Coast Invitational silver bracket championship, gave up seven hits and two earned runs while striking out a pair of batters in the complete game loss.

The Lady Eagles produced just three hits in the opener and leadoff speedster Hannahlee Harris accounted for most of them with a 2-for-3 offensive performance.

The Tigers homered in the sixth inning of the nightcap to break the stalemate and followed with an RBI single just moments later to book the shutout.

Faulkner's two hits against Campbellsville came from Shelby Brown and Julianne Wilkes.

Tori Davis (0-2) scattered five hits over seven innings while striking out three batters and allowing two earned runs in the complete game loss.

The Lady Eagles will next travel to Tuscaloosa on Friday to taken on Stallman College in a doubleheader slated to begin at 2 p.m.
