MARION, Ala. - Faulkner (18-23) took down Judson College in a pair of shutouts here this afternoon booking 5-0 and 4-0 wins, respectively.

Hayden Strickland Oates (3-7) gave up three hits and struck out five batters in as many innings of work in the opening win.

Caitlin Perry tossed the final two frames and had four strikeouts while giving up a lone hit.

Tori Davis (3-6) secured the second victory while booking four strikeouts and giving up one hit over 4 1/3 innings.

Emma Cornell held the circle for the remainder of the evening and surrendered two hits while tallying three strikeouts.

Leadoff hitter Hannahlee Harris was an impressive 5-for-7 with two RBIs and runs in the doubleheader.

Kendall Bennett was 4-for-7 with four RBIs and runs which included a two-run homer, while Dakota Berry hit .500 and scored twice in the series.

Faulkner will next travel to No. 5 Georgia Gwinnett for a non-conference doubleheader in Lawrenceville beginning tomorrow at 2 p.m.
