CLEVELAND, Ga. - Faulkner (8-1) iced former conference foe Truett McConnell (9-6) 2-0 in Game 1 of this afternoon's doubleheader before inching its way into the sweep with a 4-3 decision in the nightcap here this afternoon.

Faulkner rounded out scoring on a passed ball in the seventh frame.

Emma Cornell (3-0) remained unbeaten in the circle after allowing just four hits in the complete game shutout. The senior lefty had two strikeouts.
