MT. VERNON, Ga. - Faulkner (41-8, 18-6 SSAC) struggled little with Southern States Athletic Conference foe Brewton-Parker (7-36, 5-19 SSAC) earning the series sweep by scores of 6-0 and 7-0, respectively, here in this afternoon's doubleheader.

The Lady Eagles eclipsed the all-time program win record of 39 games on Saturday and continue to shine down the stretch.

Caitlin Perry (18-3) stuck out five betters and walked none while giving up five hits in the opening shutout.

Emma Cornell (18-4) allowed just three hits while striking out as many batters and walking none in the second blowout.

Hannahlee Harris went an impressive 7-for-9 with two runs and an RBI in the series.

Tara Ammons and Taylor Nelson each hit .500 in the opener and tallied a run and RBI, respectively, while Shelbie Burbage and Kendall Bennett hit the same in the second contest and Burbage scored.

Faulkner will take on Middle Georgia State in SSAC action in Cochran, Georgia, tomorrow afternoon beginning at noon central.
