Box Score

A fourth inning explosion from the Eagles (5-2) aided by four Georgetown (2-4) errors coupled with excellent pitching sealed the sweep for Faulkner in the series finale Saturday afternoon at Harrison Field.

Max Guzman (JR/Miami, Fla.) was the first to touch home from a single off the bat of Jonathan Villa (JR/Ensenada, Mexico). Troy Black (SO/Dayton, Ohio) came home next from a Kendall King error. Trystin Raikes (JR/Ottawa, Ill.) scored off an Andrew Carter (SR/San Jose, Calif.) sacrifice fly. Myron Mebane (SR/Tallahassee, Fla.) then drove home DeJhard Kimbrough (JR/Atlanta, Ga.) on a fielder's choice. Brandon Suttles (SR/Panama City, Fla.) replaced John Michael Matthews (JR/Birmingham, Ala.) on the basepaths and scored off a Max Guzman walk to seal the scoring.

Zack Glines (JR/Dalton, Ga.) earned the save with three strikeouts in one and two thirds innings of hitless pitching. Andrew Martinez was tabbed with the loss for the Tigers.
