Faulkner (21-12, 12-8 SSAC) overcame early 1-0 deficits in both games Tuesday to down Stillman and finish off a season sweep of the SSAC foe.

FAULKNER 5, STILLMAN 1

After Dallas Payton doubled in Kerstie Reynolds in the top of the first, the Lady Eagles rallied for a 5-1 victory. Faulkner tied the game in the home half of the first when Shelbie Burbage (SO/Prattville, Ala.) scored on a Kendall Bennett (JR/Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.) sacrifice fly. The Lady Eagles took the lead in the fourth when Julianne Wilkes (JR/Deatsville, Ala.) singled home Ashton Fielding (JR/Rockford, Ala.) for the 2-1 advantage.

Faulkner blew the game open in the sixth when they plated three runs to set the final margin. Wilkes drove in Fielding with a single. Burbage singled home Dakota Berry (JR/Milton, Fla.). Taylor Parker dropped down a base hit to plate Wilkes.

The run support was more than enough for Caitlin Perry (SR/Montgomery, Ala.) (14-5) as she fanned five batters while scattering five hits over the complete game effort. Perry lowered her season ERA to 1.61.

FAULKNER 8, STILLMAN 1

Stillman grabbed a quick lead in game two when Reynolds tripled in Tayla Stowes in the top of the first. The game stayed 1-0 until the third when Faulkner sent nine to the plate and scored four runs to wrest the game away. Abbigail Barron (JR/Panama City, Fla.) singled in Abby Tindol (FR/Billingsley, Ala.) to tie the game. Fielding drove in Burbage with a base hit for the 2-1 lead. Tara Ammons (SO/Prattville, Ala.) later singled to plate Parker and Barron for the 4-1 advantage.

Faulkner added to the lead in the fourth when Barron's RBI grounder drove in Tindol.

The Lady Eagles put the game away in the sixth with a three-run rally. Fielding doubled to drive in Burbage and Parker. Courtney Ray (JR/Montgomery, Ala.) singled home Barron for the final run of the game.

Bailey Whitfield (FR/Alabaster, Ala.) (5-3) won her fourth straight decision with a six-inning performance that lowered her ERA to 2.52 on the season.

The wins stretched Faulkner's winning streak to 12 games. The Lady Eagles travel to Mount Vernon, Ga., Friday to face Brewton-Parker for a weekend series.
