Faulkner selected to host the NAIA Baseball Opening Round

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The road to Lewiston, Idaho runs through Montgomery once again as Harrison Field will play host to the NAIA Baseball Opening Round for the eighth-straight time. 

Faulkner joins fellow conference member Loyola of the nine hosts selected by the NAIA and announced Monday. Four teams will join the Eagles in a double-elimination event May 17-20 with the winner joining the automatic hosting bid Lewis-Clark State in the World Series beginning May 28. 

The other seven hosts are Bellevue (Neb.), Central Methodist (Mo.), Cumberlands (Ky.), Indiana Wesleyan, Southeastern, Visit Kingsport (Tenn.)/Appalachian Athletic Conference and Westmont (Calif.)

The four other schools and seeds will be announced May 13 at 4 p.m.
