MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Faulkner (14-4, 4-0 SSAC) swept Stillman in a pair of run-rule games Sunday to cap off a perfect start to conference play.
FAULKNER 8, STILLMAN 0 (5 innings)
Meagan Schwieterman worked in and out of trouble all afternoon until the offense woke up in support of her as she finished off an abbreviated complete game shutout victory. Schwieterman induced an inning-ending 6-4-3 double play in the first to strand a runner before leaving another Tiger aboard in the third.

Shelbie Burbage reached on an infield single and stole second.
Caity Jo Lee dropped a sacrifice bunt to move her to third before

After a two-out Tayla Stowed double in the fourth, the senior hurler forced a grounder to third to end the frame and keep the game scoreless. Burbage singled to third and a throwing error allowed Cagle to score. Burbage advanced to third on the miscue and made it home on Lee's RBI fielder's choice. A throwing error on that play put Lee on second. Ammons followed with a double to plate Lee and move it to 3-0.
