MOBILE, Ala. – Faulkner ran into an unbeaten buzzsaw Friday as it dropped both ends of a doubleheader against No. 6 ranked SSAC foe Mobile.

Shelbie Burbage to narrow the deficit to 4-2.
Mobile scored two more runs in the sixth to move the lead to 6-2.
Erika Mitchell drove
Madison McKee with a grounder in the seventh to cap the scoring.
Meagan Schwieterman went six innings for the Lady Eagles, allowing five earned runs for her second loss of the season.
MOBILE 8, FAULKNER 0 (5 innings)
Game two saw Mobile reel off seven runs over the final three innings to win an abbreviated contest. Faulkner committed four errors in the contest, resulting in seven of the eight Ram runs being of the unearned variety.
Faulkner (15-7, 5-3 SSAC) returns to action Saturday at 1 p.m. when it travels to William Carey.
