MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Faulkner wrapped up Alumni Weekend Saturday with a 14-4 romp to complete the sweep over Southern States Athletic Conference foe Stillman. The Eagles confined all of their scoring to just three innings, hanging four runs on the board in the first and five more in each of the third and sixth frames.
Drew Mackie made it home on an error to start the scoring before
Cristian Martin singled in
Francisco Soriano to make it 2-0. Trevor Troppa's grounder scored Martin for the 3-0 advantage with
Jose Vargas aking his way around thanks to a fielding error on the play.
C.J. Keckler added to it in the third when he doubled to left-center to plate Vargas and
Jorge Lucero.
Jack Brinkley then had a ground ball that plated Torppa.
Evan Gilliam singled in
Josh Smith and later scored on Mackie's double down the right field line to move the lead to 9-1.
Vargas scored on a throwing error in the sixth. Torppa drove in Lucero with a single and later scored on a double play ball. Smith made it home on a wild pitch before a fielding error plated Mackie.
The offensive effort proved plenty for

Faulkner (17-16, 8-7 SSAC) return to action Tuesday when it hosts Point for a midweek contest.
