ALEXANDRIA, La. - Faulkner lost starting goalkeeper Diego da Silva and defender Emiliano Solar due to injuries in Tuesday afternoon's matchup with LSU-Alexandria. The Generals went on to clinch the 1-0 victory on a goal with just two minutes remaining in the contest.

Clinton Lothrop took over in the net for de Silva after he left the game with a leg injury in the 86th minute. Alexandria's Mark Hammond then connected on a hard cross two minutes later to log the game's lone score.

Lothrop (0-1) allowed the goal and de Silva had six saves.

Solar left the game with a broken nose.

Faulkner slipped to 5-2-1 overall and will next open Southern States Athletic Conference action against Middle Georgia State on the road on Oct. 1 at 7 p.m.
