The Eagles fell behind 2-0 quickly as the Crusaders scored twice in two minutes in the 10th and 12th.
Antoine Marques converted a penalty in the 14th for his 10th goal of the season to cut the deficit to 2-1. He has scored in eight of the team's 12 matches.
The Crusaders added two goals in the 35th and 89th to put the game out of reach.Â
Michalis Jackson saved five shots in the loss.Â
Faulkner sits sixth in the SSAC with four points but are just three points out of fourth and one behind fifth and one ahead of seventh. The top six make the SSAC postseason. Faulkner welcomes national champion runners-up and current No. 4 Mobile Saturday at 4 p.m. for its fourth straight contest against top-20 teams.Â
