Four Lady Eagles named to CSC Academic All-District Team

2025 CSC Volleyball Academic All-District Teams

GREENWOOD, Ind. - The NAIA College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team for volleyball has been released, and four Lady Eagles were nominated to the list. College Sports Communicators announced the honorees on Tuesday. Per CSC rules, each nominee must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, own a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 and have either played in 90% or started at least 66% of their team's matches.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Senior Mandi Hart earned one more accolade to cap off a career that includes a Second Team All-SSAC honor as a junior and an All-Freshman Team nod in 2022. She racked up 592 assists, 224 digs and 24 aces on the season. The setter from Saraland, Ala., ends her time as a Lady Eagle with the sixth-most assists in program history with 2198, beating out Lerin Hoback's career mark of 2170 and sitting behind Katie Musser in fifth with 3063. Majoring in health sciences, the dual-sport athlete and softball outfielder has earned a 3.60 cumulative GPA.

Outside hitter Charlee Jordan also placed on the list to cap off her Lady Eagle career. The senior from Kingwood, Texas, brought consistent leadership and accountability throughout her time in the program. She finished second on the team in kills as she tallied 247 on .184 hitting, 136 digs and 21 total blocks. Majoring in mathematics, she carries a 3.61 cumulative GPA.

Defensive specialist/libero Jaylyn Strength was the third Faulkner nominee. The junior from Millbrook, Ala., paced the back line with 319 digs, 230 more than her previous season high as a freshman, to go with 65 assists and 21 aces. The nursing major owns a 3.68 cumulative GPA.

Middle hitter Riley Deem was the fourth Lady Eagle on the team. A year removed from placing on the SSAC All-Freshman Team, the sophomore from Tallahassee, Fla., outdid her first-year performance with 203 kills on .256 hitting, 58 total blocks and 24 digs. The elementary education major boasts a perfect 4.0 GPA.
