MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The SSAC announced the 2026 SSAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week. Cassie Jackson of Faulkner was named SSAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Alicia Garwood of William Carey was named SSAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

Offensive: Cassie Jackson (Faulkner – SR – FWD – Pensacola, Fla.)

·      This is her first-career weekly honor

·      Jackson scored three goals in a 1-0-1 week for the Eagles on the road

·      She scored from 25 yards out against Bryan to start a comeback from down 3-1 and then tallied a pair of goals in a 2-2 tie with Columbia International

Defensive: Alicia Garwood (William Carey – SR – GK – Benfleet, England)

·      This is her first-career weekly honor

·      Garwood logged all 180 minutes against No. 1 Keisier and No. 22 Georgia Gwinnett, allowing only two goals and totaling nine saves

·      She made a pair of stops against top-ranked Keiser and had seven saves in a 1-0 loss at Georgia Gwinnett
