DALTON, Ga. - Faulkner returned to Southern States Athletic Conference action tonight here against Dalton State. The Lady Eagles came up short in just a single set to gain the victory 25-20, 25-23, 20-25, 25-19.

Sarah Dubberley had 10 kills and 16 digs, while fellow outside hitter Hannah Shanley mirrored that offensive feat with 10 kills of her own hitting .348.

Katie Musser had 16 assists and Jordan Jones offered up 12.

Libero Cassie Bailie was solid on the back row with 20 digs for the Lady Eagles.

Faulkner improved to 10-5 overall and 3-1 in the league. The birds will next travel to Gainesville, Ga., for another SSAC showdown with Brenau on Monday. The match is set for 6 p.m. central.
