DALTON, Ga. - Faulkner moved to 12-11 overall and 8-3 in the league after its Southern States Athletic Conference victory over Dalton State here tonight 25-15, 25-19, 25-21.

The Lady Eagles controlled the tempo throughout the first two sets, but found themselves behind late in the third bout. Faulkner sparked a 7-0 run while trailing 21-18 to best the Roadrunners for the second time this season.

Daijah Washington led the assault for the visitors with 10 kills, hitting .271.

Alysa Klassen and Kiki Coombs each had eight kills and three total blocks.

Katie Musser had a career-high 34 assists for a three-set match and added three aces.

Libero Julianne Wilkes offered up 17 digs.

Faulkner returns home to host Breanu (Ga.) in SSAC action at Tine Davis Gymnasium on Saturday. The match is slated for 2 p.m.
