LAGRANGE, Ga. - Faulkner Women's Golf saw a strong start to the spring season with Shelby Hughes and Eden Shipp both finishing in the top 11 in the 2026 Spring Skyhawk at Highland Country Club. 

Hughes earned her first top 10 of her college career with a 33-over-par finish, carding a 16-over-par 88 on Monday before a 17-over-par 89 to close out.

Shipp jumped two spots on the leaderboard Tuesday to earn 11th, cutting seven shots off her 23-over-par Monday for a 16-over-par 88 for her second highest finish in her career.  

The course played tough and featured just 19 birdies across all golfers in the 36-hole event with the winner, Kylee Lynn from Southern Union, ending 20-over-par. 

The dynamic duo of Lady Eagles heads to Mobile next week for the Ram Invite at RTJ Magnolia Grove on Monday and Tuesday.
