Billy Sandifer played two seasons at ACC in 1974 and 1975, making the all-conference, all-state and all-region teams both years. At the end of his two seasons, he held single season and career marks for most points, most rebounds and most field goals. His 29 rebounds in a game is still a program best. An Honorable Mention All-American in 1975, Sandifer went on to have a stellar career at Georgia Southern College, where he averaged in double figures two consecutive seasons.
