Sean Thom led the NAIA in tackles in 2008 and 2009. The linebacker was First Team All Mid-South Conference in 2008 and 2009. Thom was an AFCA NAIA All-American in 2009 as well as a Victory Sports Network All-American in 2008 and 2009. Thom finished his career with 386 total tackles in 31 games played. He still holds the Faulkner records for most tackles in a single game, most tackles in a single season and most career tackles. Thom’s reputation for greatness off the field is equally as impressive. He was the 2010 valedictorian, the 2010 Faulkner Student-Athlete of the Year, a two-time NAIA Schol- ar-Athlete, and a Champion of Character Award winner.
