Jacqui Knauss Hammond was a member of the inaugural women's softball team at Faulkner University where she competed in 1991 and 1992. At the time of her induction, she was living in Flomaton, Ala., where she taught English and computer science while also serving as the school's volleyball coach. She previously coached softball for 13 years and led her team to the AHSAA Class 2A state title while earning Coach of the Year honors in 2005. She has a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Faulkner and later earned a Master's from AUM. Her husband, Scott, is a former Faulkner baseball player who served as the principal of Flomaton High. The couple has two children, Jace and Kason.
