Hall of Fame
Gene Cody played baseball at Faulkner, pitching for the Eagles in the 2002 and 2003 seasons. He earned NAIA All-American honors in 2003 after going 12-2 with a sterling 2.18 ERA. That season, he led the conference in innings pitched with 115.2 while recording seven complete games and two shutouts. He finished his career with 19 wins and 11 complete games. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from Faulkner in 2003.
