standout on the men's basketball team from 1988 through 1992, Mixson still features on numerous career leaderboards for the Eagles. His 1,308 career points rank him ninth in Faulkner history. Additionally, his 248 made three pointers still tops the program record books. He is one of only two players in school history to knock down at least 200 threes in a career. In the days since his graduation from Faulkner, Mixson has built a successful coaching legacy in the high school ranks. He has helmed the Tallassee Tigers since the 2017-2018 season, posting double digit win totals in each campaign.
