Hall of Fame
Charles Clark is one of the founding members of the Alabama Christian College's inaugural men's basketball team in 1962, guided by head coach and Faulkner's Sports Hall of Fame member Willard Tate. Clark was considered to be the Most Valuable Player from that first team in 1962. The talented guard averaged 25 points per game with a season high of 45 in a win over Southeastern. The successful businessman opened his first KFC restaurant in 1966. He and his sons now own more than 30 KFC stores. In his down time, he enjoys being on the golf course.
