Perhaps the most versatile coach/administrator in the history of Faulkner athletics, Brent Barker came to Faulkner in 2001 as the head baseball coach. In his 13 years at Faulkner, Brent had two stints as the baseball coach, was the head women's and men's golf coach, and was the head football coach. He also served as the athletic director and played an instrumental role in bringing football to Faulkner in 2006 with the first season taking place in 2007. Brent currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas where he serves as the athletic director for the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District. He and his wife, Belinda, have. two adult children: Brooke Barker and Bridget Fiscus.
