Steve Scott served as an ace of the Faulkner pitching staff from 1985-1988, during which time he picked up wins over multiple NCAA Division I programs including Vanderbilt, Troy, Jacksonville State, Creighton and Lipscomb in addition to tossing a nine-inning complete game on the road at Ala- bama. Scott recorded 33 wins and a 3.26 ERA in an injury-ab- breviated career. The former all-conference arm also starred in other facets of the game, compiling a career batting aver- age of .314 to go along with 27 home runs.
