The first tennis inductee into the Faulkner Athletics Hall of Fame, Scarlet Curtis starred on the court for the Eagles in the early 1980s. Curtis is the only Alabama Christian athlete to make it to the National Junior College Tournament during a season in which she achieved a 19-1 overall record and was ranked in the Top 16 nationally. The Corinth, Miss. native went 15-0 in the reg- ular season that year before posting a 3-0 record in singles com- petition to win the regional championship. She helped her team to a 13-3 record that year and a second-place finish in regionals.
